The Disabled Surfers Association (DSA) invites you to their 2025 “Hands-on Surf Day” at Gerroa!
This inspiring event offers individuals with a disability the chance to experience the joy and freedom of surfing in a supportive, inclusive environment. Using state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated team of volunteers, participants are assisted from the sand to the sea with dignity and care.
About the Day:
Open to all individuals with a disability—no restrictions on who can participate.
Fully supervised activities designed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of participants and volunteers.
All participants and volunteers will be treated to a complimentary sausage sandwich.
A day of fun, excitement, and community spirit on the beach!
About the DSA:
The Disabled Surfers Association has been supporting the South Coast and Illawarra community for over 30 years. Operating entirely through volunteer efforts, the organisation prides itself on its achievements and advancements in creating inclusive beach experiences for people with disabilities.
No surfing or swimming experience? No problem! Everyone is welcome to help, no matter their age or skill level.
